Beyoncé Sued by the Estate of the Late Messy Mya for a Sample Violation

Landing herself in a bit of hot water, Beyoncé has recently been sued by the estate of the late rapper/YouTube personality Messy Mya over a voice sample used in the video version of the multi-award winning superstar's hit "Formation." Born Anthony Barré, the late artist's estate filed a suit for words taken from Mya's "A 27 Piece Huh?" video, which than made its way into Beyoncé's hit song.
